INTERWOVEN
In “Interwoven,” (collage on paper) the first names of randomly selected people are cut from Manhattan phone books. The names, connected to each other, become a thread. They are combined in different patterns to replicate textiles and the woven threads. “Interwoven” reflects on the fabric of society and the interactions and communications between unique individuals.
"Interwoven" was exhibited in 2019 in the solo show "Voice" at Smack Mellon Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, USA.
