LIGHT SERIES

In New York, the sky, clouds, sun, and light are constantly playing with city buildings and windowpanes. Mimicking the play of light within the city, the series “Light” translates onto canvas and paper this perpetual state of change. 

PAINTINGS

The painted surface, texture, and medium create the effects of light and shadow depending on the exposure and environment. I apply numerous layers of paint and scratch onto the surface.

This action gives the paintings a unique texture.
