AWAKENING THE VISIBLE
“Awakening the Visible” was made in Singapore. While living in this large city, I was taken by the growth of plants in a tropical climate. I admired the plants’ strength and generative power. Singapore was also my new home. The idea of “nests” and this new experience of nature merged in these hanging sculptures.
Exhibited at LASALLE gallery in Singapore for my Master of Fine Arts.

Medium: hand made kenaf paper, cotton thread, cotton gloves and bamboo sticks
