IN SEARCH OF THE FIRST ONE

When I was living in Asia, my strong visual attraction to calligraphy inspired me to create a new visual vocabulary. For this symbolic learning process, I used traditional tools: a brush, ink, and calligraphy paper. Working with a grid, I dipped my brush in ink and began to fill the small units with added layers of ink.
