HORIZON

The immigrant journey calls for a new horizon, a land to reach and an explorative journey to undertake. The pertinence of the map as a symbolic tool to navigate new territories becomes the perfect material to use in reference to this journey.

This first "Horizon" series is made with the cover of Horizon, a magazine published in the United States from 1958 to 1989. The books were found in a dumpster close to where I lived in NY.
