LOST IN TIME
On my daily walk to my studio in the Bronx, I collected bits and pieces laying on the ground. Their round shape was their common attribute. The objects hold traces of use, manipulation, and decay. They are witnesses to the passing of time. I add numbers, referencing units of time, to the collection of objects. In this work, I question the notion of time: time that we experience, which leaves traces, and time as a concept. These deconstructed watches like objects reference Switzerland, my homeland, and the Bronx, where I work.
